Apply Now for a Covid-19 Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund Grant

As a follow up to the CARES Act funding, West Coast University (WCU) applied for the second round of financial assistance for our students through the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund II (HEERF II) and our grant request was approved. Students can submit their WCU HEERF Student Grant application now through our secure student portal. Please note there are new stipulations for eligibility with this HEERF funding, requiring that we prioritize grants for students with exceptional need. As a result of this new prioritization requirement, not all students who apply for funds will receive a grant offer.

Expected need will be determined on the basis of the individual student’s enrollment status and Expected Family Contribution (EFC). This is calculated by using the student’s most recently processed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If you have not already submitted a FAFSA, you may do so now at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa

Applicants will be notified via email as applications are reviewed. Once awarded, grant funds will be disbursed to eligible students according to the refund method selected by them on the BankMobile platform. We recommend all students select the direct deposit refund option to ensure rapid delivery of funds. You may change your BankMobile refund method preference at any time at www.refundselection.com.

We are grateful for this HEERF funding and hope this grant will help support your continued commitment to your studies.
